CERALDi Returns to PROVINCETOWN:
A New Chapter Begins at 9 Ryder Street
This summer 2025, CERALDi is thrilled to announce our return to Provincetown, where our journey began in 2013 with a small pop-up on Commercial Street and the heartfelt mission to create something purpose-filled, rooted in time, place, and community. After over a decade of project development in Wellfleet, we are excited to reopen at 9 Ryder Street EXT, a space that allows us to carry forward the original spirit that defines us in surrealizing the story-driven dining experience that connects guests to the ecology and culture of the Outer Cape.
CERALDi is committed to convivial hospitality, creative expression, and a profound, cosmological connection to the land, sea, and sky that surrounds us. Provincetown has long been a vibrant center for the arts, a sanctuary where creativity flourishes in various forms. We firmly believe that the culinary arts are an essential expression of the creative life, uniting people around a table in collective celebration.
At the heart of CERALDI is an artistic philosophy developed by artists and collaborative life partners Jesse and Michael Ceraldi. Central to the CERALDi aim is an invitation to fancy at the axis of Time&Place. This humble daily experiment is made possible by the hardworking hands of local stewards—land farmers, oyster farmers, fisherfolk, and foragers—who nurture nature and supply the ingredients that snapshot the shifting cosmology on the plate.
From the food to the handmade ceramics, Michael approaches cuisine as a form of expression rooted in the here and now. Each menu tells a unique story that becomes quite literally re-animated by the diners. As an earth-working artist, Ceraldi also crafts the restaurant’s distinctive ceramic dinnerware from Cape Cod clay, allowing guests to “eat Cape Cod, off Cape Cod, on Cape Cod”—a tactile reflection of the place that inspires.
As we step into this new chapter, we take immense pride in being part of a lineage of artists who have woven creativity into the very act of preparing and serving food. We are thrilled to usher in the next phase of our story, in honor and recognition of all those who have come before us and shaped the space with their vision and creativity.
As we embrace the shifting sands of the Cape, we aspire to reflect the enduring spirit of hope, transformation, and the stories yet to unfold. We look forward to seeing you in Provincetown.
